Default Max wheel size for non lifted '07 Precedent?

Is it possible to go with 12" x 7" rims and low profile 215-35-12 tires on an '07 CC Precedent electric cart that's not lifted? Most of the tire sites online say "Precedent may require modification to fit".
What would the modification be? Want to go as wide and tall as possible on the wheels without having to modify the cart or lift it (for now), without any issues such as rubbing. This cart is used only on the golf course.

I had the same size tire and wheels combo on my DS 2 years ago. The only problem I had were with heavier people on the back seat it was a small rub.
I am guessing you do not even have a rear seat, since it is used on the golf course. I put racing bump stops on the top shaft of my rear shocks and it helped. They are not expensive to add.

Here's a link to some Precedents that have 215-35/12s on them.

Thanks to all who responded. I had heard that there is some sort of plastic electrical box under the passenger side front which is in the way for
12" wheels. I'm looking at SS112 rims with a negative 5-2 offset, which the seller says will work
on my cart without having to move or alter that box, or lift the cart. Can anyone confirm that?

Yesterday I was at a RainbowCustomCars.com and asked about tires and wheels. They told me that a 3/4 offset would work on a stock height Precendent but a 2/5 would need a 3" lift. I'm going to see if I can email the guys in the link I posted and ask them what kind of offset they were using.
I'll let you know what I hear.
