Just a Click When Pushing Accelerator
I have a 2000 48 Volt Club Car DS VIN# A0012877355.
A few times when pushing the accelerator while in Forward nothing would happen, I would move the F/R switch and press the pedal and it would go thinking it was the F/R out of place. Today I was driving on pavement in a light rain for a while with several stops. When leaving the last stop it felt like the rear tires spun a little., but not sure they did. I think it just tried to go and stopped. So I let off then back on. It now just clicks when I push the accelerator. The batteries are 2 years old and check out fine. Just came off a charge last night. |

I'm not sure what drive system you have. Somebody who knows more will be along to help. |

Re: Just a Click When Pushing Accelerator
It is a AZ Titled Golf Cart and that is the VIN number. Is there another number somewhere. It is Titled as a 2000. The drive selector is the handle not a toggle

Then it is a series cart. That helps.

Re: Just a Click When Pushing Accelerator
My DS 2000 is A0005 -- A = DS; 00 = 2000; 05 = 5th week. So, sure his is a 2000, 12th week?

Re: Just a Click When Pushing Accelerator
The main thing was to find out the drive system.
Now we need to help him fix it. |

Re: Just a Click When Pushing Accelerator
If you are sure the batteries are good, does it do the same thing forward and reverse? Try switching it back and forth.
