Maybe I can help. I have a laptop programmer for Curtis controllers. Still learning how to use it.
I only have 4 pin molex connector, I don't have round 4 pin that connects under F/R switch. Is there a 4 pin molex on your controller, if so I can scan it.
I have been trying to find the correct 4 pin connector to make adapter cable , but no luck yet finding one. If somebody knows a source for them, let me know.
I'm in Beaufort and could meet you round halfway, maybe round Jacksonboro.
I hate driving in Charleston, so I don't go there.

You mentioned taking the back step off to fit on a trailer. You can rent a 5x9 trailer from UHaul for only $25.00 a day. It has a fold up ramp and it's fairly light. My cart fit perfect with plenty of room to spare and I have the back seat also.

Thanks for the trailer help. Since I posted that I bought a 5x8 and it fits. Now I just need some free time!

My stuff is on the way. Thanks to bobboyce for the source.

This from bobboyce in electric cart thread.
It is post 965 in Programming curtis controller thread.

Here is a link to the plug on Newark. Be sure to download the datasheet to get the pinout.

http://www.newark.com/te-connectivit...e-8/dp/11H4557

The Tyco plug is TE Connectivity part # 1445390-1, the 4 female socket pins are part # 770986-1, and a cable strain relief is part # 1445730-1.

The Mini-Fit Jr end is a Molex socket, part # 39-01-3043, and 4 male pins, part # 39-00-0049.

I used shielded dual twisted pair wire, red/black are +15V/Gnd, and the white/green are TXD/RXD. I salvaged the wire from a defective 15' USB extender cable.

Tyco pin 1 is connected to Molex pin 3, TXD
Tyco pin 2 is connected to Molex pin 4, +15V
Tyco pin 3 is connected to Molex pin 2, Logic Gnd
Tyco pin 4 is connected to Molex pin 1, RXD

I bought this for the 4 pin p4 connector that fits programmer cable.
