Re: 2000.5 Club Car Rebuild
2000 must have been a major transition year for the DS. My cart serial A0032 is 48v which explains the different parts and their locations. Best thing I did was converted my cart from Regen to IQ, but I had a locked up factory motor that helped me make that decision.

Re: 2000.5 Club Car Rebuild
So I bought a 12v charger and maintainer and set my batteries up in 3 separate 12 volt seires...charged all to 100% over the weekend...
my question is should I just contiually rotate the maintainer, or now that they are all charged just do each series every so often? Just trying to keep these babies in tip top shape! |

Also in 2000 Club Car was making 3 different drive systems in 2 different voltages. There was 48 volt Regen II, and Series and a 36v resistor coil series system. I hope this helps |

Re: 2000.5 Club Car Rebuild
Ok so it been a while but though I would give an update...took longer than expected to get the frame all cleaned up (life gets in the way). But I think it looks good. Finally purchased my conversion kit and have started the install. Scotty B has been invaluable though this whole thing...he really is so quick to answer questions! I can't thank him enough and I know unfortunately I will have some more coming his way...
So far it has gone pretty smooth just some little things here and there...thus far nothing technical just handy work...anyway here are some pics of my progress. |

Re: 2000.5 Club Car Rebuild
Here are the updated pics of my rebuild...I think it is going pretty well so far. Scotty B has been a huge help. Got the solenoid mounted as well as the controller. Started to figure out where all the cables go as well.
