98 G-16 sudden loss of torque
I have a g16 with a jakes life and plowmans power kit. It's run perfect for years and a couple weeks ago, it just all of a sudden lost some torque or high end power.
It doesn't accelerate as fast and when you think it should keep accelerating it tops out. All my cables and govener are adjusted the same and I tightened up the throttle cable to no avail. I don't know if I need a new piston and rings, valves ajusted or what. I don't know how to test the compression. Any suggestions? |
