99 EZ GO clutch removal
I just lifted my 99 ez go and seen the threads posted on here as well.Do I remove the centerbolt for the clutch then screw in the puller? there is no way the puller will fit between the clutch and the frame of the cart what the hell can i do????

You remove the center bolt first. I forgot if I jacked up the drivers side frame and let the motor go down or lifted the motor with a jack. I didn't have to unbolt anything. One of those positions should get you enough clearance to put the puller in the hole...it's a tight fit.

We drop the rear end down by removing the shock nut and then the drivers side rear leafspring bolts. This drops the motor down so you can get in there with some MAN size air tools

make sure that you put grease into the hole so the hydraulic effect will work for you.

One thing I forgot ...is it left hand thread or right for the clutch bolt!!!
