Default 1995 EZ GO textron 36 volt Golf cart battery question

My EZ Charger 2 model#26984 is not "kicking on" to charge my batteries. After reading other threads, I believe my problem is that the cart batteries are not giving out enough voltage to "kick" start the battery charger. I plan on charging the cart batteries with a car battery charger. How do I charge two cart batteries at a time using the car charger. I saw the battery diagram on this website and am still unsure on how to connect the battery charger to the battery posts. There will be only two charger cables (1 pos and 1 neg) and four battery posts (2 neg and 2 pos). thank you so much for your time and expertise.....Zach

How many volts are required to "kick" on the EZ Charger battery charger?

you start at positive on your first battery, that batteries negative connects to battery 2's positive, then put your negative lead on battery 2's negative..

about 25-30 volts are needed to kick charger on.
