Default Buying a Yamaha Gasser

I have an ezgo elect and am wanting a gas cart. I have the option on buying a yamaha gas cart. I have seen some pics of it but dont know the year yet. Is there anything to look for or be careful of when looking at these. Is one year better than others? Are yamaha carts better than ezgo or club car and why?
Thanks for the info.

I don't know which one would be better. But I have a Yamaha G16. Its just fine for me. I would say from reading this Forum both machines have their issues. Go by the shape the machine is in when you look at them. Try it out. Does it start easy? etc, etc.

I have had all 3 I like ezgo or yamaha better than club car but dont really have any reasons why. Just make sure there are no strange noises and that the clutches run smooth and quite.
