Default Snowmobile motor transplant

Hello all,I'm new to this thread and website.I just purchased a Yamaha G2 with an ArticCat 440 transplant. The project was never fully complete and the engine is in and does run.(POORLY).My question is what are the do's and
do not's in a project such as this?Any advise will be GREATLY appreciated.
I also have an 87 EzGo with a nonop 2stroke motor(it just DIED)I have another snowmobile motor I hope to transplant in the future sometime.

Here ya go.It's still in the early stage of my project. My ezgo died and I came across a complete and running snowmobile for $100. so I thought I would do a transplant. While I was gearing up and trying to research it I came across the G2 on craigslist, transplant near complete. The price was right
($250.)so I bought it.I will post pic's and updates as I make progress..

Not sure yet,I'm pretty sure it wasn't something major though.
When I get my ezgo running with the other 440 I have I may just sell it.
