G3E Lithium/48V Lights not working
I upgraded a Sun Classic to 48v Lithium (Dakota) and Alltrax. As best I can tell, the original lights and the whole cart harness was powered from the 36v connection on the charging plug - they were working before I started the conversion. Now, not at all when the fused red and black connections are on a new 48v pos and neg bus bar. I got a 12V reducer, but have no idea where to connect into the harness. Any help appreciated. (The cart is running and driving, just no lights!) Never did anything like this before, first cart. Thanks!

Re: G3E Lithium/48V Lights not working
Sorry it took me so long to see this... the lights and all the factory accessories get power from the fuse bar in the front hood compartment. There's positive and negative wire under the seat that should feed 12 (not 36) volts up to that stuff. The positive on mine is in a black rubber tube and is a red wire, slightly thicker gauge. The negative is in back near where the seat latch mechanism is.
Hope that helps if I'm not too late. |
