Verified the670cc is only a 2amp charging system

That's out

CRX680 seems like a great setup and has a 20amp charging system

IMO 20 amps is not enough. If it were me, I'd get the Predator 670 and mount a small one wire alternator like a mini denso 60amp model they're less than $70. They are super easy to wire, lots of videos on youtube.

The 670 carb is ok but needs some tweaking. I found the stock fuel pump was garbage and had to remove the epa caps and dial in the idle air jets to get it to idle correctly, but it did run pretty good. Going with a Mikuni will make a huge difference but it isn't cheap and it does require some custom work, although most parts are available to bolt one one. I would not go with a 34mm, I'd go smaller.

Stock 350cc internal charging system is 12amps, and it keeps up decently

The 20" LED lightbar draws under 9amps

The electric hoist draws under 15amp when in use

The winch draws the most and doesn't get used a ton

I have the cart hooked up to a Noco Genius 2 trickle charger also

VC said that some MPT carts have locking rear axles and axle tubes larger than 2-1/4"

My cart doesn't have a locking diff and the tube is standard diameter

They said they will work with me to get around any fitment issues

CRX680 looks to be great, but according to comments in this review...........there's no speed control!!

"Only thing I don’t like is there is no throttle. It runs full throttle all the time."

It appears that Briggs Vanguard engines have oil coolers with spin on oil filters

I need to find the published info for the charging system specs for the 16hp and 18hp

I know the Vanguard 20hp engine has a 16 amp system........but doesn't have an oil cooler?!?!
