What is this used for? Can it affect the brake lights. Everything works except the brake lights and I can’t figure out why they don’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

![]() A similar question came up recently about that device and it does look to be a brake light timer.
This thread has some discussion on it but one poster in reply #11 said it isn't needed on an RXV: https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=131972 I don't know the manufacturer of your particular light kit, but do they have a tech support line? |

![]() The picture is what it should look like. I have my red and white wire switched. I had red to positive and white as the extra and need to switch them. Can I just switch the wires or do I have to put the cart in tow and remove the main negative and positive wires to keep from getting any voltage? I don’t want to fry anything out while switching the wires. Thanks

![]() Just to be safe, disconnect a battery cable and flip run/tow switch to tow.
