The Facial recognition is pretty advanced. I forget how many pixels the FR is but the screen is 2436 x 1125 resolution and it uses every bit of it. The set up is extensive. You have to look in 6 directions while it memorizes your face. Then it can compensate for most glasses (exceptions like really dark lenses) and facial hair changes and hats. So far so good - I even tried my wife's lipstick and eyeliner without a problem except when the mailman rang the door bell but, that's another story
