Default Ignition module

My ignition module came today and before I install it I wanna make sure I checked everything do I don't blow it. Should I get a new coil or could just piggyback two 2ohm resistors thanks in advance

What's the primary resistance of the coil? Probably in the neighborhood of 1.5 ohms?

If you piggyback (in series) 2 2ohm ballast resistors then you have 4 ohms there + whatever you coil is.

It actually had about zero resistance I ended up just getting the coil you specified from Auto zone the LU800 after work I plan to borrow my father in law's timing light. I tried running it from the 4:00 position and it's sputtering so I just called it a day.

Oh ok. I'd check the primary resistance with an ohm meter just to make sure. Should match but who knows what you get anymore. Let me know what resistance you get.

I just put ball joints in a car and some had grease fittings and some didn't. They were the same part#. Even rear calipers can be different with the same part#, some were metal and some were phenolic (plastic). Just don't ever know.
