![]() Hello BGW friends. I have a 2006 Precedent. Was a 4 12 volt Cart. Now it is 6 8 volts. Cart sat out in the rain and I noticed the reverse buzzer started going off. I tried to get it to stop but the only way was turn off the run tow switch. Now the cart will not run at all and I have no idea what is going on. I checked a couple of fuses and they were fine. Any idea's where to look? Thank you

![]() The switch actually comes apart. Use a screwdriver to pop the switch out of the housing. Unplug the wires and take a good look at the base of the switch. You'll see two tabs that you can pry apart to open the switch. Open it up and dry it out and put it back together and it should work fine.

![]() Ok I will ck that this morning. I have a hand held that plugs into the controller but it will not show anything because the controller is not powering up I am assuming. I will check the switch first .

![]() Switch is dry. No go. I have power to the switch and power going out when I put it in forward or reverse.

![]() I think it's something with the F-R switch and related wiring. Especially since the buzzer was on (moisture created a short). Grandpa, was there any water / moisture inside the housing the F-R toggle itself sits in?
