Default Planning on G14

I am thinking about switching the electric on my G14 to gas but do i need to get a horizontal or a vertical engine for it?

If you are asking that question you need to do a bunch of research. It's not an easy conversion. The drive train is very different. It is probably better to sell your cart and buy a gas one.

Yes, if you want reverse, and the climbing power the variable clutch provides. I would be looking for a gas car. There are so many parts, you pretty much need a donor cart for the bits & pieces, then you would already have a gas cart.

You really need the whole drivetrain. Again, this is not an easy or inexpensive mod. You will come out ahead if you sell your cart and buy a gas cart.

The gas engine does not connect in even a similar way to the electric motor. If you have no idea than this isn't for you to tackle. You will have to get a donor cart and replace the entire drivetrain from engine to wheels. Then you need to rewire it because that is all different as well.
