Default 440 sled engine swap help!

I am trying to swap my existing motor with a 440 Kawasaki sled motor. I am needing to know how to wire a kill switch on the motor in order for me to kill engine when its running any help will be greatly appreciated, Jesse

Sounds like your doing the same swap as me. Did you get an entire running sled? or just the engine?

Heres a link to the wiring diagram for the engine. this is for a john deere trailfire. same engine, im guessing it should be the same for whatever sled your engine came out of

CC there is no link on your reply lol, Yea its an air cooled engine someone told me to run a switch from the black wire on the cdi box that's the kill wire. I bought the motor from a junkyard I work at it was started up on either and it ran for about 2-3 minutes so I know it runs

OK. Sorry. Idk how that happened. But I also forgot to check my cart out. Its not at my house so I can't just go look at it. I'll have to remember to look at it
