1981 yamaha g1
i just got a 1981 g1a a couple weeks ago ive been doing a few thing to it to get it into shape. I put crank seals in it and a new fuel pump I am waiting on a coil and she should fire up.

Remember the fresh fuel. I would disconnect the oil injector system and start premixing the fuel with a good quality air cooled synthetic 2 cycle oil. The factory oil injector often fails, and this is no good. I used 100:1 ratio for mine for years, tore it apart to inspect and there was no wear whatoever. The factory oiler mixes at 150:1 according to the service manual.
