![]() Hello, i have a 36v ezgo (Western) i have used one of those small 36v chargers you see on amazon and such for about $80 it has always worked good its supposed to turn off and switch into trickle mode after charging however something has gone wrong and it WAY over charged to about 60v or about 10 or 11 volts per 6v battery. have i cooked them? how can i safely bring them back down to normal and i guess a new charger is in order any thoughts on that. thanks as always for all your help

![]() If you have to get a new charger I would suggest a Lester which will work for 36 or 48 volts. DPI is also a respectable brand and both have charging algorithm's tailored to your battery brand and model. You can probably find a good used 36 volt charger on the cheap. A lot of people are converting to 48 volts, should be pretty easy to find a good used one.
