Spark Plug Hotter or colder

The heat range numbers used by spark plug manufacturers are not universal, by that we mean, a 10 heat range in Champion is not the same as a 10 heat range in NGK. Some manufacturers numbering systems are opposite the other, for domestic manufacturers(Champion, Autolite), the higher the number, the hotter the plug. For NGK, the higher the number, the colder the plug.

Ezgo series controller

White nylon plug on top with four wires says it is a series controller.
ROBW are the colors from Left to Right when viewed from the front of the cart looking towards the back.
The pin numbers for those four wires are from Right to Left:
Pin-1 = White
Pin-2 = Black
Pin-3 = Orange
Pin-4 = Red

Sounds like someone has changed the body on the cart if it has a PDS label on it.
--------------
Raise rear wheels off ground and put on jack stands so the half ton cart doesn't take off unexpectedly and run over someone or something.

Measure the battery pack voltage. This is the reference voltage (Vref).

Connect you DVM negative test lead to the controller's B- terminal and the positive test lead to the N- terminal.

Push pedal just far enough to make solenoid click and you should read Vref.

If not, use the positive test lead to follow the cables highlighted on the attached schematic until you find the voltage.

Here is a high Resolution diagram for the 2007 Precedent:

If You prefer the style showed in the stickies, I only have one for the 2004-2005 Precedent, which is the same as in the stickies (but higher resolution):

Two places. in the glove box on the passenger side of the cart. Or lift the seat, and the black plastic panel over the rear batteries, lift it up, and on the frame above the rear batteries, there will be a sticker on the cross frame. And there is a sticker under the charge port on the cart
