Default Difference between shock options for All Sports long travel?

The all sports website lists two different shock options for the long travel kit: coil over, and nitrogen. The website does not offer any description or information about the difference between the two, other than to charge $200 more for the nitrogen. The person who answered the phone at all sports just now was only able to give me a response saying that the nitrogen shocks have to be returned from time to time to be refilled.

Surely there is more to it than that.

Nitrogen filled coil overs have an air bladder inside that is filled with nitrogen, at least thats the basic idea. It's a way to get a little better ride off road. Most racing atvs have these, as well as dune buggies and stadium trucks etc. If it was me, I'd skip the nitrogen, they can be problematic and do need regular servicing. Coil overs are much less trouble and still perform fantastic off road. Most standard atvs come with regular off road coil overs without the nitrogen bladders.

Thanks. So just to be clear: both All Sports options are coil overs, just one has nitrogen in the shock and the other does not?

I don't know, but I would assume so. I suppose there are fully nitrogen shocks available, Fox makes some that are a popular brand. King is another brand. But I've never seen those for a golf cart.

What cart is this for?
