So all You did is installed new batteries, still using the same controller and FNR?

The Controller model number is on a label on the Controller itself.

What is T-3 in this comment?

I changed the batteries from 6-6volt to 6-8volt. Bought a 48v solenoid and replaced that. Replaced the charging receptacle to 48v type. The 36v receptacle had a wire from the negative on the plug to t-3. My impression was this was a safety so if the v- glide was I engaged the charger stopped charging. I also replaced the charger to a 48v charger. The charging system works.
I understand what you are saying but the label on the controller was a buggies unlimited sticker. No model number. On the bottom of the controller was a logisystems label that just listed the specifications. And another sticker with a serial number. There is no other model number on the controller controller has 3 small wire inputs
1 from the solenoid that goes through the forward reverse switch to the ignition from ignition through a 10 amp fuse to the battery side of solenoid
1 connected directly to t1 on the v glide
1 connected directly to t-9 on the v glide

Tried it with the existing forward reverse switch(36v) then changed the forward reverse switch to a 48v with no change.

If Your VGlide had a wire from T-3 to the negative then You have a 3-wire throttle controller (not a rheostat 5k-0) and You need that connection in place for it to work.

The T-3 or zero throttle signal needs to go to Controller B- or pack negative for your throttle to work with that Controller.

Thank you very much!!!! So on my old cart it was wired to the to the negative terminal.
I mistakenly assumed that the wire coming off the new charger that had a fuse in it was an the negative terminal. 48v charger plug fused wire
So I hooked that to t3 instead of a jumper to the negative terminal

So now I just need to figure out where to hook this fused wire on my charger up. Going to go out and run the wire from the t3 to negative now

Sergio. I can’t thank you enough for the info. The wire I was asking about I believe is for the OBT which I don’t have. Cart is charging now. Took it out and ran it without any problems after hooking up the negative. Going from 36v to 48v on my cart which already had an upgraded motor and controller from a previous owner took it from 12 mph to 18 or 19 mph. I will do more research to better understand the 3 wire throttle controller better now that I know what it is Thanks again. Made my day

You are welcome and that gray "sense wire" on the charger receptacle is primarily for OBC chargers or Sepex ERIC chargers, You don't need it to charge the cart.

Its purpose is to disable the cart when the charger is plugged in so You cannot drive.

For a series cart You could add a N.C. 48v relay that gets activated by that wire and disables the key switch when the charger is plugged to the cart.

That is not always a good idea since if you leave the cart plugged to the charger the relay also stays on continually.

You are better off just running the charger cable through the steering wheel as I reminder that is being charged.
