Default Mzj 400a solenoid install On G29

Trying to install a mzj 400a solenoid. However, the holes do not line up with the stock bolt location on my 2012 G29. What is the easiest way to install the solenoid? I believe I may be able to remove the stock solenoid holder and reuse but I’m not sure. Can I easily drill through the solenoid mounting plate or the stock mounting area and replace with nuts and bolts?

Correct, they do not line up. The stock solenoid mounting plate does not fit around the 400amp solenoid. Right now, I only have one bolt holding it so I am also looking for a solution.

Just shift it over and use some self tapping screws. I ran into the same issue when installing a Riot kit and this was the easy solution.

So I installed the solenoid and have no power. Used a 3 amp diode as told and had the cart in tow mode while making the swap. I have pack power on the 2 large terminals but nothing on the small terminals. What do you guys think it could be? I reinstalled the old solenoid and get the same results there.

After reading some of the posts on here I tried to push the cart with the run switch on and the key on with no click in the solenoid. Based on other posts does it sound like a bad controller? I did slightly tweak the post that the cable that runs from the controller to the solenoid is connected to on the controller, but I didn’t think I hurt anything. Thoughts?

Something else I just thought about....I installed the 400a solenoid with the stock controller. Could this have burned up the controller and be the whole issue?

The small terminals should have B+ when the tow/run switch Is on. Then one will have B- when the solenoid is supposed to be on. I would remove the diode for now, for testing. If you installed the diode backwards, you could have caused damage.

Does the positive side of the diode go to the tow/run switch or to the controller side of the small terminal?
