A couple years ago I did a controller swap on one with a regen 2 GE unit from FSIP and they had a Z harness to regen 2 adapter cable available for the conversion. I'll look and see if it's still available and post the link.

I think this is the correct one. I would call them to verify, but it was an easy plug and play. Install the controller and add the adaptor and the old harness, and roll on.

Alltrax makes now a regen 2 controller. I wonder if that wiring harness adapter from FSIP would work to go from the Z connector to the powerdive 2 hook up?

thanks for the info nolefan. The cart is complete, minus the headlights.
not sure what the next step to take is.

also, thanks for the link mgrey70. ill check it out.

so when i turn the key....no click.....if the controller is not sending signal to that relay, it wont activate. right ?

Check the stickys for interlock block out (OBC bypass) to make sure the OBC hadn't got you locked out. I can't remember the regen 1. You can check to see if your actually getting voltage to the small post on the solenoid. If you are the solenoid doesn't click, it's the solenoid. If you aren't getting voltage when the pedal is pressed, then you have to figure out why.
