Default Club Cart Vegascarts clockwise predator kit

Wow I see the clockwise rotation kit using the 22 HP Predator is finally in stock. It will certainly give those Club cart people with the clockwise rotation engines a nicer engine swap solution.

Oooooo...nice. I've been waiting for that. Just finished up my lithium build. Guess I'll start looking for a gasser to build on.

They run it off the flywheel side rather than the opposite end where the clutch would normally be mounted. Also in the kit are the parts to convert the the secondary clutch to clockwise rotation. Nice header with a Zemco muffler too.

Aahhh Haaaa... Why'd nobody figure that out before??

Any concerns on the bearing on the other end taking a beating? I have no idea what's in there and it might not matter but in cars aren't the bearings at the flywheel end beefier?? Just a thought.

Still...I'm now looking for a later model gas cart!!!

Unlike some other engines the 670 has the same sized rollers on both ends. VC actually made the kit rather than a one off.

I wonder with the 390-460 clones using roller bearings on both ends if the same thing could be done ?

I was thinking the same thing. When you look at the diagram of the 390 both bearings are the same. I think it would work

There is a business opportunity for somebody. Machine up a stub shaft to marry the 390-460 flywheel to a comet 780 with a 1" keyed shaft. In fact I wonder if the stub shaft in the VC 670 kit could be adapted to the 390-460 clone flywheel.
