Numerous other projects and activities have stolen time from this, but I have been working on it off and on - more "on" lately. The main body is complete and spar urethane applied - still needs another coat or two. Lots of details left. I will probably work on the rocker panels and windshield next.

Same here. I have never seen anything like this. The only thing that would come close was something no bigger than about 3 feet long.

Interesting idea. But, I'm retired; I don't want to work that hard for someone else. While the CNC does a lot of work, I do more. I have to plane and glue up the cedar boards into panels - probably 20 hours of work just in that to feed the CNC. After machining there is further cutting and gluing, followed by LOTS of sanding. I have not kept track of hours, but I'm guessing well over 100 at this point.

I may scale this down and build an R/C version. Someday.
