Default iPad and Android Tablet on Cart

I have a IP67 waterproof android tablet. It’s a high end tablet made for field work. I’d like to install some apps on it for speedometer and maybe navigation. I’ve tried google maps and just a normal speedometer app but it’s kind of blah. Do any of you guys have a iPad or tablet on your cart? Where do you install it and what apps do you use?

I installed a mirror which has an Android system in it and made my own dash application.

If speed is from the GPS, I also made a sensor box connected by Bluetooth and sending RPM, Voltage, engine temperature (non contact infrared), exterior temperature, and signals (low/high lights, left/right turnlights, oil sensor) etc...

Lately, I added a voltage regulator function (sending/stopping a negative to the starter/generator depending of the voltage value).

Fun...

Sounds fun. I wanted to whip something up on python but I don’t think a raspberry pi would work very well on the cart. The hard shutdowns would end up corrupting the file system

Are you monitoring each individual battery?

Do you have pictures of your setup or a build thread?
