I have for my CC DS. It should be a whole lot easier for an EZ-GO since the average Joe can weld to the frame.

My set up and it rides so much smoother now.

What coil over springs are those? Look to be Fox. Is there a part number for them?

Ditto, I would like to do that but I also need to find replacement shocks for my Jakes LT front end.

They're Fox Podium shocks off a Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS.

Search eBay for the best price/ best condition. They are rebuildable if they ever need reconditioning but so far so good for the last 2 years.

Those are good shocks. You can get custom valving and springs for them too.

I may have misspoke... these shocks are from an Outlaw, but I don't think from the 525 IRS. I believe it came with the podium shocks with the reservoir. Mine may be from the 500.

Thanks for the response...quick search and I found A06GP50AA looks to be a part number for a 2006 model year front shock, and used anywhere from $80-$140 each, $62 for a rebuild kit, and $260 each new. That's with 10 minutes of searching...so likely could better that cost some, but that should be the ballpark. Thanks NCPW. While expensive, rebuildable and adjustable is the answer. Considering they come off a much smaller machine than a golf cart, the initial spring rate is likely soft. That is a lot of money for all four corners though.

They will be soft. I've used no less than 5 different pairs of atv shocks, all full size sport models, all front units. They all handle really nicely with just me in the cart. But add any weight and they go flat. Even adding my winch on the front bumper makes them go flat.

I've also tried UTV shocks, Yamaha Viking, and they are way too hard.

The last ones I tried were from a Yamaha Grizzly 660 atv. Perfect! They are a little short, at 12", but they handle fantastic and with two people in the cart they barely squat. I ended up making some 4" spacers that work great.

Now once you find the model shocks that work the best, you can order new ones from Bronco that come with 10% slightly stiffer springs and upgraded valving.
