Default Tire Finalists: Grappler or Nomad?

I think I’ve narrowed it down to a couple tires I seem to gravitate to the most - both in terms of type (possibly the equivalent to a hybrid truck tire - that sits between an A/T and M/T) and in look/appearance. These just look better to me than most of what’s out there in the golf cart tire world.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any opinion or experience to share about these, either with the exact tire, or just with the brand itself (my current cart has the RHOX Mojaves on it).

Thanks!!!

I've never used these tires, but they look nice. Any tire that is DOT rated is going to be a better tire, especially for driving on the road. They are built like car tires so they will handle better and last longer than standard off road type golf cart or atv tires.

The Nomad looks a little more aggressive but has a tread pattern similar to a lot of LT all terrain tires. That would be my pick just on looks alone.

Thanks, man...

It also appears to be the only one that’s steel belted......so, maybe also more durable? It does cost more. Maybe that’s the one. It looks fantastic on the pics I’ve seen.

Those nomads look good. Steel belted is a big plus if you plan on running trails, especially rocks or any fields with thorns or briers.

they are both 4 ply , I like 6 ply fore they have stronger side walls . I got these for my cart , I know these are 12's but assume they would have 14's

Swan, are you still happy with those tires? How'd they do in the mud and how loud are they on the street?

i havent been stuck yet and they are hands down the quietest tires I have ever had on a cart , they are so quiet I startled people when I drive by .

Yes I would buy them again !
