Tilt column
A friend of mine off another site swapped out his tilt steering column in his 67/72 truck last week. He posted the chrome steering column for sell so I snatched it up for $50.00. I figured it would make getting in little red much easier. Plus give me turn signals and horn button and a smaller steering wheel.
I figure for $50.00 I can cut it, chop it up, screw it up and throw it in the trash if it doesn't work. I would love to make the shifter work also for the F/R but just don't see how. The Ezgo coupler went on it but I would have to weld it up for it to stay put. Which I don't mind doing but I would like to be able to take it back a part if needed. I may cut my old Ezgo shaft I have and weld it to the column to join it up. That would be much cleaner and easier to disassemble if the need arises. Give some input guy's and help me figure it out. |

Re: Tilt column
Is the column shifter electric or mechanical?
