I don't have enough posts to PM. Could you PM me with cost on 160P?

Lightning18u can you send a pic or any insight of the brake resistor installed if you’ve done one already not sure if the 105AH is the same as my 160AH but my brake resistor finally came in they sent a orange wire with 2 wires coming off and it’s clear one end plugs into the pack but the other end is just 2 ring terminals then the brake resistor itself has 2 smaller white wires coming off with ring terminals on the end and of course directions aren’t clear on how this is to be wired or installed other than saying not in the battery tray or around plastic bc it can melt plastic from the heat.....

Mikewd88, if RoyPow sent You the updated pdf instructions please upload it here as it may help other members.

If they did not, how exactly do you connect it?

Your description seems to indicate both the wire from the pack and the one from the resistor are terminated with a ring connector so You must need some kind of "stud" to connect them together.

I did notice the instructions Lightning8U post they recommend mounting the 1000W resistor "under the cart", that could be dangerous if you drive over tall grass.

Have the 105AH /S51105P. It's as advertised all the good none of the bad compared to lead acid, plus significantly more torque /speed /range ..no complaints. Purchased locally from Primegolfcars.com

Juju, can you provide some more details please?
Install go smooth? Could you share the cost?
Scuttlebutt was the P model's wouldn't be
available until March or April. If that's what you got that is great news. I've got a request in at The nearest dealer for the 105P and need it ASAP as my FLA are shot.

I believe it is just the 160AH P that is not out until then, the 105s are here now. I want a 160 is the only reason I have not installed one. I have been waiting a long time for one now lol. I almost caved along the way but im glad I waited.

It was available locally for $2400 USD including the charger, dash power switch, and dash meter. Largest Roypow that can fit in a DS. Way more torque and speed regardless of charge status, estimated 50-60 mile range WOT of 30-31 MPH and 25-27MPH up steep hills. The 160AH is probably overkill. The install is tricky (requires 2 small cuts into the "T" part of the back frame -which is hard to describe). I had the dealer do full install for $300 I was able to get the unit in 7 days from order date.

Can you post pics of your install in your DS?

I want the 160P but am afraid I may have to settle for the 105P in my 1998 DS cart unless I decide to build my own set.
