Default Gas Cart Shortage?

Seems to be harder to find used later model gas carts here in Michigan, our largest dealer who keeps over 1500 carts leased, has 6 used gas carts for sale and an over abundance of electrics, another dealer was telling me that ezgo production is 20% gas 80% electric now.

Sorry to hear this.

Hi, I'm new here. Most of you know me from the other forum. I registered a few days ago but haven't posted yet.

Any rate - YES. Specifically here in Calif. The state made it illegal for golf courses to use gas carts, so the only gas carts newer than (I think 2003?) will be personal carts that will never see a golf course. It's a shame, but I think I'm going to sell my electric and get a gas while I can still find one. I'll get a second electric later when I can afford a second one.

Electric...probably @$2500-$3000 in my area.

Gas...LOAD UP!They aint cheap.You can figure $1000 more.

Personally I prefer gas.I've had both an Elec is a hassle cause you need to charge them...protect the batteries which go bad all the time.Every 3-5 years you have to replace them..Keep them warm if sitting for an extended time...replace cables on a regular basis...cause they burn off.

I can go on forever...but I wont.
