Default field mapping

I Had to replace my controller and gave the dealer my motor serial and they said it needed field map 55 so it came shipped with 55 on it. My other controller same model as new 1, had field map 3. Problem is, the cart is slower and less torque on field map 55. Top speed with map 3 was 23-24. Map 55 is 17-18
Controller is set at 100 percent output and speed
Any thoughts or opinions on why it is slower

Controller is dcx400 motor is 4.5

Default Re: field mapping

If the map is the correct one, you should use it. The incorrect map could kill the controller, the motor, or both. What is the model of the motor? I "might" have a list of field maps to check...
