Jakes lift add on?
Okay I have the Jakes long travel kit now and I am considering adding the Jakes 6" spindle lift to the current lift. I am trying to get the max hieght. I will fab some type of lift to replace the rear lift.
My question is, are there any problems that I might be missing and how tall of tires should I be able to use? Thank you for your advice and opinions. |

Re: Jakes lift add on?
I think I would give Steve a call at Jakes to get his opinion. As far as tire size, you could probably fit truck tires under it with a 12" lift!!

Re: Jakes lift add on?
I spoke with Steve yesterday and I was surprised to find out he has never been asked this. He said it is possible but had no other advice since he has never tried it.
I like the sound of truck size tire but will that wear down my batteries quicker. This will all be for show (neighborhood riding) not trail riding. |

Re: Jakes lift add on?
They claim that the Jakes Lift is adjustable from 6"-10" with all the shock holes.
