Post Unknown Wire

Ive still been dealing with this problem---http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/electric-ezgo/37052-2002-yamaha-electric.html

And Today on this cart I have found a Black wire that was in a Black tube with other wires it has 4 white tiny little buttons on the end of it and it hooks up to another wire that I cannot find. The tube that that wire is in is split so that wire can come out.I think that wire plugs into a tester machine but I'm not sure.

What is this wire for?
Could it have something to do with my problem in the link?

I believe that is the diagnostic port. (its not actually "buttons" but just a cap to keep dirt out of the connector) You will have to take it to a dealer to be able to use it.
