Re: Gas parcar bearing problem
on the first picture the big round silver plate..it will move...not much but it moves and we were told that it should not move at all. As for the rest of the pictures I have no idea what they are i just took them so you can see.

the drive clutch needed repair...
That big silver thing is your drive clutch. I do not see a bolt that should be in the center to hold it on the engine. The clutch will move in (closer to the engine) but should not have radial movement or wobble. Someone else jump in, but that engine is to clean to be the disaster every one has conddemed it to be. |

Re: Gas parcar bearing problem
Things could be looking brighter ....Are you telling me that in the middle of the drive clutch there should be a bolt? Could that be the reason why it is loose a bit? Before we took the motor out it ran the cart did run..it was loud and rattled but it did run..We fixed the muffler that had a small hole in it...So how can we tell if it is the drive clutch or the bearings?
thanks |

Re: Gas parcar bearing problem
Slightly is a relative thing, but I can't answer because I have not tried to shake one ever.
Do a search online for comet duster clutches and you will find a lot of information and diagrams of how they are made. Anyone else ever shake one? |

Re: Gas parcar bearing problem
I just put a new 94C on a cart a few months ago. I didn't shake, rattle, or roll any way, no how. Solid like a rock.....
