The robin 25hp is18" inches front to back (strater to oil cooler) and the workhorse had 20" in the compartment and another 12" to spare in front of the stock crossmenber location. ( this is where the 12 inch wheelbase stretch is in the cart) I'm gonna move the crossmember forward some so I don't have to shoehorn the motor in

Hey PizzaMaker, I can not find the rebuild kit for NIKKI carb anywhere. I found this similar Nikki carb for $85 on ebay...... Do I dare try it? Or just try to clean up the old one without a kit? I just hate carb problems and I don't like the idea of opening one up without the kit....

ebay item # 140322524262

That's a good idea. lots of room after that.
Are you doing the suspension as well? Or jst dropping in the motor?
I'm not over confident with my fab skills. I'm not sure I (personally) would try the suspension, but, I look forward to seeing how you do it. Good Luck.

Very nice Scotty! Your cradle design is outstanding and very strong. Gives you all kinds of options for rear suspenssion reworking. Thanks for the build pic's!
