Painting Roof Supports
Just picked up roof supports for a Club Car DS.
They are the black ones stock. They are in tough looking condition, so I would like to paint them, hoping to make them look new again. Questions; What prep work should I do? Any suggestions on brand of paint? (spray can hopefully) Flat, gloss, satin black? Just want them to look stock. Any other advice would be great! Thanks in advance guys! |

Re: Painting Roof Supports
if yours is the factory black? if so I wouldn't try to stripp it ! I just did mine WOW ! what a job i think there actualy powded coated stripper only works in layers comes off like a laytex glove with a zaror blade, I wound up using a 80 grit sanding disc taking it to the metal then re primering it then painting it.

Re: Painting Roof Supports
Have them sand blasted and powder coated. Would cost you like 25$

Do you mean to do it myself it would be $25? If not, any idea who I would look for to do this at this price? The shop by my house said to just sand it, prime it, and paint it semi-gloss metal spray paint... |
