Default Need pricing info on 2007 club car

Hey, I know this is my first post, but hopefully many more to come. One of my local golf courses is closing down and selling off their club cars. They are all 2007 and are in fair condition. They were stored indoors, but as I would assume with all golf carts they were rode hard and put away wet most times.

Serious questions though:

Is it a bad idea to buy golf carts in this condition?
What are some things I should look for before buying?
Also what would be a good price for a cart from this year/condition?
I see carts all over price ranges up to $2,500, so I am not sure what is a fair value as there is not a kbb for golf carts that I am aware of.

Are they selling precedents or DS carts? Are the batteries new or old? Lots of factors to consider.

Usually this is where re-sailers get their carts, most of the wear and tear are items they plan on upgrading anyways. My 2012 Precedent with original batteries was from a Colorado golf course. $2,700. My batteries are old but I still can ride over an hour and not exceed the 50% charge mark or 48.3 volts.

I am assuming DS as it is battery operated? I don't know the difference in the models.

The batteries are old, I am not sure of how old currently. It is a little over 2 hours to pick it up, so I am getting information via email from the course. I have played there a few times and they seem to be in good shape.

here are a few photos they sent me. (nevermind can't attach here.) They are attached to my profile. There was a nasty mud rain storm before they took pictures and didn't wash them beforehand. They have 10 carts and are doing a blind bidding. So essentially top 10 bids get carts. I am not sure what I should bid. I want to get a cart, but I don't want to over pay.

That is a Precedent not a DS model.

Look at the green cart in my signature, that is the 2012, I removed the top and converted it, the other under my name is my 2008.5 Precedent.

I'd start with $1,000 and go from there.

In the Arizona area most carts like you have asked about go for $1500 to $1800

I will put $1000 as my bid and go from there. What are the differences between the DS and Precedent? Also what would be some things to look for that could hurt or help value? Obviously battery and its age, but are there some other simple things to check to make sure it isn't overly beaten up?

Check to see if they have 6 of the 8 volt batteries vrs 4 12 volt batteries, you want the 6 batteries.

The Precedent is a solid cart; if they do have the four battery setup, you can convert it to six if you are handy.
