The tag in the pass. glove box reads K 302 which should mean 2002 ?! The motor is def. a Kawasaki . IFJXS 2952 GA. Am I missing something ? Thank you for your reply.

Don't know what to say other than no 2002s came with a Kawasaki and the later ones that did I don't think had a tag in the glove box, they were tagged on the frame over the motor.

My bad , You are correct , the motor is a Robin. My friend wants me to install a new engine, because he doesnt want a rebuild. Is it possible to find a new Robin ? also. what is your personal opinion of a Robin engine. Thanks. Doug.

Don't know where to buy a new one and I'm in love with the 2 cylinder Robins.

I just saw it yesterday for the first time . He said it stopped running and wouldnt restart. He took it to a cart repair shop in Titusville ( FL.) just North of us and they said he needed a new engine ( imagine that ! ). I am bringing the cart to my house probably tomorrow and try to figure it out .I have a '91 Club Car DS with a Kawasaki = so somewhat familiar with them but have not worked on a Robins. I'm not scared though, lol .If you dont mind , Ill pick your brain on a couple of things that i notice on the Robins. Thank you.
