slow to move in reverse temporarily

Hello again. New and final issue i hope. 02 36v txt series cart. has 23" tires, lift and rear seat. 2ga wires, 375 amp controller installed. currently have a alltrax 500 but not installed. (trying to save it for my next buld if i can).

after sitting for extended period. (after charge or a couple hours) the cart is slow to move in reverse. Almost like it needs to build up momentum. after backing it out the drive, put it in forward and works great. put it in reverse and works great. if i let it sit a while. its slow to move in reverse again and builds momentum. and so on.

ive tried stock tires to see if that was it. it wasnt. voltage on BP is over 39v. (i duno how if 38.2 is 100%) i thought it may need more torque and id use the alltrax but if it still does it with the stock tires that cant be it can it? any thoughts from the experts?

to clarify... when i say slow to start. i mean it. like wont move and then it slowly starts to crawl. i have to give it a little push. but gradually it picks up.
