The charts shown on the first two posts are not exactly accurate. I made another chart simplified somewhat with the individual cell voltages multiplied by 16 cells to get the correct numbers. As you can see, 51.20 volts is actually 17% SOC, the very bare minimum I will go.

I believe these are the correct SOC to Voltage readings for Lifepo4 batteries:

Confusion reigns....
The info on the 48v HSKY gives the minimum voltage cutoff at 43v, but further states 46v for increased cycle life.
That's a considerable difference from the chart.........

If I'm not mistaken, and I commonly am, the minimum cutoff voltage is what occurs when you floor the pedal in normal operation. The voltage will drop just like it does with FLA batteries. This is set at 43 to avoid nuisance shutdowns.

The voltages shown on my chart are at rest, not driving. You should be fine with your BMS set at 43 volts. It appears to me that BB was initially designed for home energy usage, with the wheels and plug in cable system. The operating parameters are different there than in a golf cart.

Divide the voltage shown on the chart by 16, and you will have the individual cell voltage nominal. I have learned to not let the resting voltage ever go below 3 volts per cell. 3.2 x 16 = 51.20 volts is my mindset minimum.

But I could be wrong!!!

I have only put the charger to my BB HSKY 48v twice so far.
When the BMS disconnects the charger, the battery voltage makes it to 54.9v.
After sitting onernite the voltage drops to 54.5v.
It does not take much runtime to see that voltage drop to 53.5v., but it takes quite a bunch of use to drop much from there. Seems that, when I turn the battery on in the morning, it is always 53.0...... I can fun it around and eventually see a resting voltage in the 52.6-52.7 range, but sit overnite and it is 53.0 the next morning.

Charger is set to 58.4v......

I gotta think that, as it is new, it hasn't reached full capacity yet.

I think you are exactly where you need to be right now. Your voltages look perfect.

I run mine nearly every day for 8 to 20 miles. So I charge it every day. The next morning, my voltage is 53.13 to 53.21 every time. This equals a solid 90% actual charge which I have calibrated as 100%.

I know our batteries may be a bit different as my charger shuts off at 57 volts. ECO says this is correct and the 53.13 to 53.21 resting charge is done to extend the battery life.

I charge it every day regardless of my SOC unless I just run it around the yard. Ten 10% charges is equal to one cycle life or 100%. There is no disadvantage in charging when it gets to 80%. This way I'm always topped off at 90% actual and ready for the next day.

I drive my cart a lot. Average week in the summer is 70 to 80 miles. In the winter it may only be 15 miles. I feel like I'm ready for anything with this setup.....if my MCOR behaves!

The discharge curve for LiFePO4 is VERY flat from about 95% down to 10%. I’ve always stated that you cannot predict SOC from voltage with LiFePO4.
