Hi, I am trying to edit the config file to increase the rpm limit and the file will not allow editing. Can anyone help on this?

I was able to reconfigure the config file in text and save it. 10,000 was what I changed it to. It works great! Hit 36 mph down hill, but 33 max on flat ground. Thank you all for the help on this!!

I have the ICON i40fl and just added the 14" modz / 23" tires and top out at 25mph. Can anyone please help me locate the software to download as I would like to increase top end to 30mph. I live in Key West and the closest dealer is over 100 miles away and he said he could not do even if I transport it to them.

I have a 2020 I40L with the larger 23 inch tires and can say that the speedo is slightly off. Comparing the onboard speedo to GPS (which I have verified its accuracy in my car) the onboard reads 30 when GPS reads 28. It's close though. I have increased the maximum RPM to 6900 but it never gets there unless going downhill.

Updated mine, 2021 I40L (5Kw) w 22x10x12 Rhox Road Hawks, edited config file to 7500 rpm (fwd speed) but only tuned to 7000 rpm. Does an easy 34 mph (speedo - haven't checked via GPS yet). Wouldn't go faster on street as seems to get a bit squirrely.

Tested with GPS, speedo 4 mph off with the 22" tires. Hitting 29/30, might try 7500 rpm. Need to find how to calibrate speedo.

My understanding from the forum now is that the dashboard speedo gets its signal directly from the motor speed sensor so you can’t adjust it with the controller settings
