You can measure the reel then use that to measure the fish. Looks like the bottom of the reel is riget at the end

Very nice Bass. I haven't tied into one of those since I moved West but definitely one of the most fun to catch.

Man that's hard to come by in these parts. I'm lucky to catch one 5+ all year long. Good job. Are you throwing a jig?

This is the 3rd 5+ lb'er I've caught this summer, one 4+ lb'er, three 3+ lb'ers and a butt load of 2+ lb'ers. my main place I've been fishing, which is the area in the map in the earlier post, has a lot of floating vegetation....so my one and only lure is a BOOYAH Pad Crasher in the bullfrog color combo.

Psssssss.......Don't tell S.Nuke.....but I think his other finger was on the scale. After all....you can't see it in the picture. Just saying....... :)

Put some marks or your rod 5" 10" 15" 20" and you won't have to carry a tape with you

true, I could.....but there is no real need for 5", 10", 15"......lol those are just BAIT!! LOL I would start at 20" and go up from there.
