Trail cam pics
Thought I'd throw in some trail camera pics. If you have some add them to the thread.

Re: Trail cam pics
Yeah we're glad to get a few bigger ones back. We got hit with EHD pretty hard a couple years ago and lost a lot of deer. Found the skulls of two bucks that were in the 170 class.

Re: Trail cam pics
Do you need some adult supervision??? I'm a senior and I will help cull some of the small ones. LOL and I will hunt for food.

Re: Trail cam pics
We're at a golf cart forum, we all need adult supervision. lol
After losing so many I'm glad to see some decent ones coming back.Even more importantly we're getting some does back. Six or seven years ago we had so many deer, between hunting and depredation permits we'd kill 100 deer a year. Then we got down to 30 or so, and finally got to where we could take 10 to 12 and felt we were keeping things in check. Two years ago when EHD got done I found over 30 carcasses seven or eight of them being bucks. Last year I didn't take a deer and the year before we took 2 just for some meat. With the numbers I'm seeing this year I think we may be able to got back to at least 6 or 7 and not hurt ourselves. |
