Default 48v TXT W/issues. Please help

OK, 2013 48v TXT. It's been running fine.
Today however it's only running about half speed and less torque.
Just took it off the charger and checked the water a couple weeks ago. Once today at take off it made a noise from the rear..??
Also.. As your going, if you let off the throttle completely it slows down normally. But if you only let off about halfway it feels like you are on the brakes. Thoughts??

I think you are feeling the regenerative braking holding the speed at half throttle. These motors are fairly tough. I think you would really have to abuse one to ruin it.

Thanks for the reply.
It's a new thing that it's doing. But it is only running at about half speed or less.
I did hear a little clicking sound today, that's definitely a new thing. I've had this cart several years now.
Torque is way down today as well.
I've always kept a check on the batteries, they've never been low on water. I've added a little here and there but the plates have never been dry at the top.

And when I say it's about half speed/torque today, I mean at full throttle.

Check the battery voltage while the pedal is fully depressed and the cart is going 1/2 speed. if below 43-42v batteries are a problem. If above
Check the throttle signal here > https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=132659
If okay - check the motor brushes.

Thanks scottyb.
For a 2013 48v TXT, with stock controller do I follow the test procedure for the pds cart?

I've been gone all week so I haven't had a chance to do any hands on tests on my cart.

Got home yesterday and jumped in the cart for a ride. It has a stumble ( 1/2 to 1 sec) when you first mash the go peddle, not every time though. It was weak feeling like I explained in my original post, but after about 10 feet it sped up and felt normal again.

Today I plan to check the pack voltage and check the voltage on each battery. I plan on checking the ITS switch. And I plan on checking all the wiring. I ordered a digital voltage meter from scottyb that's supposed to arrive today so installing it too.

Does anyone have an opinion on the random stuttering at takeoff and the weak /laggy then after 10 feet feel normal thing? Thanks

Where's all the heavy hitters at?
Any opinions on what could be causing this?
Not really that savvy with golf carts so I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or opinions.
Thanks
