Default EZGO 2014 RXV 3” Lift Kit

I have put a Jake’s 3” lift kit on my cart and need some advice. The lift appears to be installed correctly according to Jake’s instructions. The problem is when I try to jack the cart from the rear axel the axel raises and not the body of the cart. Therefore I cannot raise the rear of the cart to install the rear tires. If I could install the tires I believe the axel gearbox will foul on the under body. I have been talking with Jake’s but so far no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

If you can post some pictures of the connection points, of the lift components, that would probably make for a quicker diagnosis.

Might be angle of picture but is the U clamp tight?
Looks like it’s not holding axle tight to mount😊

Are you sure you have the correct lift kit for a 2014 electric? Electric and gas lifts are different. Also, The rear spring design where it attaches to axle changed in 2013.5 (actually some 2013 carts require a 2014 lift kit).

Also, I do not think the 3" kit has the block spacer you show, yours looks more like a 6" lift.

I am going from memory, but I think your pic looks different than the last RXV 2014 lift kit I did.

Not sure this pic is accurate, but this is what Jake's shows:

looking closer, comparing the two links below, it looks like you have a 6" kit and it appears to be the one for the GAS rxv.

Yes it’s as tight as it will go. There is gap between the axel and lift block but there is a plate on the bottom so it will only tighten up to the lift block no more.
