Love that body style. My mother drove me to my first doctor appointments in the winter of '59 in a 1948 Power Wagon. Had to use 4wd to get down the farm lane to the hard road.

Nice thread there DFW, I've owned 3 Jeeps now, CJ7 I drove for years until a Left turner took me out, I did a skyjacker lift with a spring over and ran 38X15.5X15 on it, had a CJ5 at the same time, sold it because after the 7 the 5 was too twitchy for me, just bought a 93 YJ for a price I could not pass, it already had a ProComp coil spring conversion done (with install mistakes) guy said he was done working on it,,,, ok. So now I am pissing on it to make it mine, first get rid of the RED, painting it with Durabak smooth sand colored coating and lots of aftermarket body parts. Tires are 38X15.5X15 Boggers on 15X12 rims Should I start a thread?

This ones not mine, but, it was built by one buddy several years ago (got bored with it, always a new project). Then, last year bought by another buddy for a resurrection. Some new tires, some under hood maintenance, a fuel pump, and it's back on the trail.

Double transfer case, hydro steer, big 8 lug axles, still has some amenities like AC, Tons of fab work inside & out, and I dont think anything on there is a "ready made kit". I always liked those Cherokees.

Nice one! I am a Jeep owner too and had a lot of different kind of them throughout the years. Currently I have a 2019 Wrangler, just love the car. We have a Jeep group here and we'll be off to France after all this quarantine stuff is over. I have a real estate in Cannes and we will be staying there for a week. We do these kind of events every year. Anyone who's interested can join us!
