Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
That is a very nice looking cart!
Did you paint it? I would still go padded on the back just put the less portly people on the back |

Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
thanks skoal!
I didn't, but it was painted sometime around 2012-13ish before my grandfather purchased it to replace an older one he had. Maybe just keep the rear pad 2 inches or less? will most likely only be my kids back there |

Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
Ya I think a thinner pad would be good also your cart does not look lifted so I think it would be much better
So that little space behind the rear seat is an onboard cooler? Very cool! Good luck on your seat build. |

Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
Might not help much. But you could do kinda like what I did with the tool truck box so you don't lose storage. Just put the "Butt" part of the cushion on top of the truck box so you can sit on the box itself and then it will still open up when you need storage. And just put the backer cushion along with plywood to the factory golf bag rack.
A few more pictures in my old Post : http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...install-2.html just a thought......... best of luck! |

Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
Did you ever end up making a seat? If so have pics? Just bought a cart and looking to build my own rear seat. Already has the foot rest but I believe someone took the rear seat and brackets off of it. Not a good pic but I will have it at the house this weekend.

Re: DIY/Homemade Rear Seat
Here is a utility kind of rear space I made. Welded it up with 1" tube and has 1/4" diamond plate for the bottom. Although I didn't, you could easily make a removable or permanent cushion for the seat and back as well. Unlimited options. Just another take on it.
