Default Left side brake locking

My 09 Precedent is lifted and giving me a problem with the brakes. The driver side brake locks up prematurely and very easily until you use the brakes in reverse a few times. The driver side cable housing is too short with the lift kit and tight between the housing brackets. The right side housing has plenty of slack in it. The cross bar that the cables attach too at the pedal is favoring the driver side cable due to the short housing. I have backed off the adjuster on the driver side and tightened up the passenger side which works better but as soon as the cart sits it locks up again in drive. I can use my big toe on the pedal and push as gently as possible but the brakes will grab and pull the pedal to the floor instantly. I know I need to replace the cable but I'm not sure how the pedal assembly works and since it pulls the pedal to the floor when it locks, I wonder if there is an adjustment or something I'm not aware of. At very slow speeds, if you can keep it from locking the pedal pulsates up and down drastically as it's trying to lock. In other words, I push lightly, the brakes grab and that pulls the pedal down and then it releases and the pedal comes up and then grabs again as if the drums were severely out of round but that is not the case.

There is a longer Brake cable for the Drivers side. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/p...-car-precedent.

Hope this helps.

This sounds like the ticket. I knew it needed a longer cable but wasn't sure if there was more to the pedal assembly. I ordered the cable so I'll report back after replacing.
